Welcome to Blairgowrie Community Garden.

 

Thank you for visiting the website of the Blairgowrie Community Garden. 

We are an enthusiastic bunch of local residents brought together by Anne van Veen and her vision to establish a garden that the local community can enjoy and benefit from.  We're all volunteers, who came together back in 2018 to convert some unused council land into a community garden. 

We run fundraising events and have been generously supported by local businesses, community groups and individuals.  We've also benefitted from government grants, local and federal for which we are very grateful.  The garden is thriving and all produce from the garden is shared among members.  We have community garden beds - no private plots.  ​​

Our Annual Wine Fundraiser is on again.

Our wine fundraiser for 2025 is now open for orders. We have a great selection of wines available with only a 3 bottle minimum order and free delivery to our local area. 

Orders can be placed on line or via paper order forms.

Music in the Garden.

Saturday 8th Nov 4pm.

Everyone is invited to our end of year break up with live music by Anna Smyrk.

With a voice described as 'truly astonishing' by Rolling Stone, Anna Smyrk has spent the last few years touring the world. Now, she's home in Australia for a tour of community gardens around the countrу! Come along to this free, all-ages concert to celebrate music, community and nature.

BYO chairs, drinks and nibbles.

 

No tickets required. It will be outdoors so dress accordingly. This event is open to the community, not just our members. It is a free event.
