Welcome to Blairgowrie Community Garden.

 

Thank you for visiting the website of the Blairgowrie Community Garden. 

We are an enthusiastic bunch of local residents brought together by Anne van Veen and her vision to establish a garden that the local community can enjoy and benefit from.  We're all volunteers, who came together back in 2018 to convert some unused council land into a community garden. 

We run fundraising events and have been generously supported by local businesses, community groups and individuals.  We've also benefitted from government grants, local and federal for which we are very grateful.  The garden is thriving and all produce from the garden is shared among members.  We have community garden beds - no private plots.  ​​

Our Annual Wine Fundraiser for 2025 raised $1400

Thanks to everyone who ordered wine during our fundraiser in November. The wines from Prospect Wines in Blackburn are excellent and we had great sales, resulting in a profit of just over $1400 which is excellent.​​
